Böklunder is one of the strongest brands in Germany
This documents the repeated decision to include the Böklunder brand in the renowned compendium “Marken des Jahrhunderts – Leuchttürme auf dem Markenmeer” (Brands of the Century – Beacons in a Sea of Brands) and to award it the “Markenpreis der Deutschen Standards” (German Standards Brand Prize). By winning the prize again, Böklunder is proving that it still belongs to the exclusive circle of around 250 German brands, which each represent their product category with unique selling points. Germany’s most popular sausage speciality was selected by a prominent jury, consisting of high-level brand experts.
Böklunder awarded as a top brand for the second time
Good cause for celebration at Böklunder: Once again the market leader in the self-service sausage market was chosen as a TOP BRAND by the food industry magazine “Lebensmittelzeitung” and the Society for Consumer Research, GfK Nürnberg in 2017. Rewarded were those brands that have the highest increase in market share in percent points within the respective category. The underlying data was collected by a consumer-panel with 30,000 German households. With this award, Böklunder continues to assert its position amongst the 100 most successful food brands in Germany.
National Honorary Award for the zur Mühlen Group
For the third time, the German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) has awarded the sausage specialist Böklunder Plumrose from Böklund, Germany with the Bundesehrenpreis (National Honorary Award) for the impressive quality of the group’s assortment. The National Honorary Award is the highest distinction which a company in the German food industry can achieve. “The winner from Böklund entered numerous products into the extensive expert tests by the DLG. This underlines the company’s consistent pursuit of quality across the entire product range. At the same time, the National Honorary Award is an encouragement and a commitment to continued investment in all-round quality in the future”, said DLG’s Vice President Prof. Dr. Achim Stiebing in praise of the company.
