The matter concerns Clemens Tönnies at the zur Mühlen Group.
Clemens Tönnies, who is Head of the B. & C. Tönnies Fleischwerk group of companies in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, wants to increase his existing financial investment in the zur Mühlen Group to 100% within the next three years.
Peter zur Mühlen explains his plans as follows: “I want to set the course finally for a successful and strong company in the sense of customers and also in the future by my 68th birthday in three years’ time. I see my company´s independence and also the continued customer-orientated alignment as secured with the further commitment of Clemens Tönnies.” Mr. Peter zur Mühlen has developed the zur Mühlen Group to be the market leader in self-service sausages as well as preserved sausages in Germany with his great commitment.
The existing management of the zur Mühlen Group remains unrestrictedly independent. No ties between the two companies will exist in future either because the matter of Clemens Tönnies’ commitment concerns a purely private investment. The zur Mühlen Group will remain autonomous and independent in future too.
