The zur Mühlen Group is extending its market leadership in pre-packaged sausage
In the 2009 annual analysis by the Society for Consumer Research (GfK) the zur Mühlen Group once again occupies the leading position on the pre-packaged sausage market. The independent market research institute based in Nuremburg is confirming the undisputed market leadership in Germany of the successful group of brands comprising Böklunder, Könecke, Redlefsen and Schulte. In a market that is growing by one percent the zur Mühlen Group was able to report above-average growth of 4.3% with its delicious selection of ham, salami, sausage, raw minced pork sausage and liver sausage, as well as frying and grilling sausage.
In terms of figures, taking the entire year’s production into consideration, the zur Mühlen Group covers a quarter of the entire market of more than 915 thousand tonnes.
